Denis Calabrese is a communications consultant specializing in strategic planning, governmental affairs consulting, public relations and media relations. Denis has created, planned and managed multi-million dollar advocacy campaigns, and directed communications and public relations programs for extremely high profile business challenges and policy initiatives. He has also developed and managed the strategic, grassroots and public relations elements of sophisticated legislative and regulatory initiatives on the local, state and national levels.
Mr. Calabrese served as Washington D.C. Chief-of-Staff for the now retired Majority Leader of the U.S. House of Representatives, Congressman Richard Armey. Mr. Calabrese has extensive experience in high-stakes, high-profile litigation, including asbestos, breast implants, diet drugs, employment discrimination, environmental, gasoline additives, lead paint, mold, and tobacco litigation. Mr. Calabrese also leads the strategic teams of a number of major public policy initiatives, including chief strategist for Texans for Lawsuit Reform.
Mr. Calabrese is a graduate of Rice University with majors in both Economics and Political Science, and taught a course on political communications at his alma mater.
